Goal
Our Client, H & CR Realty, was looking to create a completely new type of reporting system for the Internet. With their history in creating reports of this nature for institutions, they knew that many of the calculations required very cumbersome manual aggregation and crunching of specific numbers. They weren't even sure if what they wanted was possible, but they came to us with the challenge of developing a prototype, and upon successful completion of that, a beta version of the application. The task was enormous, aggregating disparate data from half-a-dozen sources, developing procedures to test and verify data, and then the actual report development.
Result
The prototype successfully accomplished its goals. On a tight budget, we developed an application that aggregated multi-milllion-record data from multiple sources via a custom data import tool. Then, by developing intelligent data profiles, we were able to aggregate data and develop a complete reporting system from it, which for the first time on the internet allows comparative analysis of condominium properties by area or by building, delivered as PDFs to the end user. The application, now a live beta release, creates the most comprehensive real-estate reports available from any web application in existence!
